Situated on the very heart of Hydra town, only a gentle 150 meters from the port and with no steps to climb, Hydra Melia is your dream choice for the perfect holiday.
From the moment you arrive and as you step off the dolphin from Pireaus or the passenger ferry from Peloponnese, the Hydra Melia team will be there waiting to welcome you. We will show you around the town and the shortest route to the residence, while your luggage will be transferred by a Melia’s handcart.

Entering the cozy street entrance and following the inner staircase you will find yourself to a marvelous, hardwood furnished private terrace, overlooking the east and west mountain sides, the surrounding rooftops and the quaint town streets. A perfect, ideal outdoor space for dining, resting and relaxing both during the day and under the star lighted sky at night.

In the residence the main living space has been designed to create a luxury atmosphere of relaxation and serenity. Airy and delightful with its exposed ceiling beams, carefully decorated in classy Hydra style in sophisticated shades of grey and cream with its comfortable chairs and sofa, this indoor area is there for you to chat, read, relax, listen to music or maybe watch a film. The old style dining table and the beautiful open kitchen area can directly be viewed from the living room. A cloakroom, utility area and the family shower room are all situated to the side of the kitchen.

An extra two guests can be very discretely accommodated in the living room area so that 6 guests can be hosted in total. From this living space a small corridor leads first to the “bunk bedroom” and then to the master bedroom with the en- suite bathroom.

The “bunk bedroom”, as its name implies, is fitted with two single beds one built above the other. This special wooden construction is based on an old island technique with wide old pieces of wood mounted in the walls thus creating space for the full adult-sized single beds and the extra storage space at the end. The double wooden doors of this romantic old fashioned room lead straight to the main terrace.
Further down the corridor the beautiful four-poster queen-size bed handmade of fine wood, along with the gorgeous exposed roof beams are the dominating elements of the master bedroom. A small traditional private balcony is overlooking the town streets and hills on the one side and part of the sea on the other. The wide window facing the street and the double doors leading to the main terrace add even more light and brightness to this elegant sleeping space bringing it in complete harmony with Hydra’s idyllic atmosphere.

Greek olive oil, all through its long history, has been known for its beneficiary qualities and used as a beauty “elixir”.  These natural wellness products including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body milk, liquid hand soap and hand cream are kindly offered to you daily. And by providing summer beach towels, fine bath robes and slippers will hope to make your journey more comfortable and lighter. As courtesy, the fully and beautifully equipped kitchen of Hydra Melia will be supplied with tea, coffee, water, & fruits upon arrival for you.

WE CLEAN EVERY DAY

A non-optional daily maid service up to 2 hrs is included in the price. Bath and beach towels are changed daily and bed sheets are changed every other day unless requested otherwise. Extra hours of maid service can be arranged upon request and subject to availability, at an extra cost.

TRANSPORTATION & OTHER SERVICES

We offer you free luggage transportation by handcart to and from the port of Hydra upon arrival & departure. Mule/donkey or horse transportation of guests to and from the port of Hydra upon arrival and departure will be accepted by e-mailing request with number and ages of guests 5 days prior to arrival.
