Villa Dermata, is in Firostefani, a traditional village of Santorini.

It is only a ten minute walk from Fira, the capital of the island, 8 km away from the port and 5km from the International Airport.

At the highest spot in the capital, on the way to Imerovigli, the guest reaches Firostefani, a picturesque village with spectacular views.

Here, 80 steps below the peak of the cliff, built on the edge of the caldera is Villa Dermata, with a magnificent view of the white houses perched on the rock and the beautiful blue scenery.

Large windows at the entrance allow the light to reach deep inside the rooms. Villa Dermata interior consists of three spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a comfy living room and a fully-equipped kitchen and can accommodate up to six persons. The outside courtyard of Villa Dermata spreads over 400 sq.m. and features a living room and swimming pool with jacuzzi for plunging into its cool water. Further out, loungers offer moments of relaxation and sunbathing. At a lower level, a wonderfully made outdoor lounge area offers breathtaking views of the caldera, the volcano and the sunset.

Indoors, the villa consists of three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Outdoors, a large courtyard spans over two levels.

Bedrooms

All three bedrooms are built in the style of Santorini’s cave houses. Beautiful wooden furniture and large concrete beds give an elegant, minimalist feel to the premises. Fabrics in subtle shades complete the picture. All rooms have air-conditioning and LCD TVs. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to the courtyard, while the third bedroom has access to the courtyard through the living room.

Bathrooms

Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. Built-in sinks, fluffy towels and bathrobes give the bathrooms a sense of finesse and luxury.

Living room

The living room is located at the front of Villa Dermata and has large windows that allow light to bathe every corner of the villa. Concrete sofas and a nice wooden settee offer great functionality and comfort. The living room is also equipped with air-conditioning and an LCD satellite TV. There are also a PS3 console, a DVD player, movies and Internet access, for a range of entertainment options within the villa. The front door of the living room leads to the courtyard.

Kitchen

The living room features a full-equipped kitchen for preparing breakfast and dinner.

Courtyard – Swimming pool

A wonderful 400 sq.m. courtyard with palm trees extends in front of the villa, with many areas for fun and relaxation. An outdoor settee with comfortable cushions is the best choice for relaxing in the Villa Dermata courtyard. A bit further away, two beautiful palm trees cast their shadow over the pool area that is equipped with a jacuzzi. Another magnificent spot is found further away from the pool, with loungers for sunbathing and enjoying the view, but also for stargazing under the night sky. Only a few meters down, a second level with beautiful outdoor settees is available to the guests. From here, the view of the caldera, the dormant volcano, and the houses that are perched on the cliff, is wonderful and compensates for all the winter months spent away from Santorini.
