Corfu,Villa Hestia
Property Description
Villa Hestia, is beautiful back and front with pale blue shutters which elegantly reflect the color of the lavender, with a fabulous courtyard at the back, beautifully planted with highly fragranced plants. On entering the house, you are led into the large, light sitting room which looks straight on to the pool and sea beyond. The bedrooms are light and airy with lovely bathrooms.
A small kitchen (used mostly by the chef) is perfectly formed and high tech. There are endless places to sit and eat in the shade or inside for those going in the cooler months.
The sea is a mere 30m. The bedrooms have been beautifully furnished by an interior designer with exquisite taste, hot reds and deep blue’s give way to crisp, white linen sheets and gorgeous clean-lined bathrooms with Philippe Starke baths and showers.
There is a huge TV room in the basement with an enormous screen. Endless films can be watched or, if the mood takes you, enjoy the facilities of the huge basement gym.
One of the bedrooms is in the garden room, to use the term “annexe” is doing it down, it is just as glorious as any of the other spacious bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms.

Local Information
The north east coast is full of outstanding bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora and rural simplicity. Water sports a-plenty can be found on many of the local beaches.
Nearby St Stephano is a simple and pretty harbour with seafront tavernas and a delightful beach. The tavernas are lively, day and night and there is also a cocktail bar if the mood takes you.
For the teenagers the night life in Kassiopi is a short drive up the coast.
This is a fine place to spend a family holiday or with a close group of friends, potter into town for delicious local delicacies, take a small boat from to a tiny taverna for a long, lazy lunch of fresh fish and come home to a delicious dinner under the stars.
One of the greatest pleasures of this gorgeous, wooded stretch of coast is that the sea-fronted properties are so accessible by boat.
